Scholarships are available at Redbridge International Academy for the 10th and 12th grades. The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a worldwide, nonprofit education programme that was established to provide all students with a standardised global education that is uniform around the world to help students develop their intellectual, emotional, personal, and social skills. At the time of visit, kindly carry with you

For Pre-Nursery: The child must be 2 years 6 months as of 31st May 2021

From Grade 1 onwards, there would be an examination process for children seeking admission. Kindergarten students would be assessed from an impromptu assessment/discussion. This would take place on the school grounds. The day and time would have to be agreed upon in advance. English, mathematics, and science would be covered. Kindly mail the details to enquiry@rbia.in 

At Redbridge International Academy, we have a hands-on approach to non-English speaking children. We operate through a multilingual education system; teachers help a child/children to understand the basics in his/her known language until their English language and vocabulary can be well developed. Since the teacher-student ratio is less, this kind of personalization has been possible.

Redbridge International Academy is an international school that believes in inclusiveness. Our approach is child-centric, and hence we have a department called the Special Education Needs (SEN) department. Children with special educational needs receive personal attention.
The languages taught in Redbridge academy include English, Hindi, Kannada, and French. Depending upon the classes, even the languages become advanced or simple. The lower classes such as the Primary will have simple English, Hindi, Kannada, and French. Higher classes have more advanced grammar and comprehension.

Yes, Redbridge academy provides an inhouse transportation system. The transportation facilities are not included in the school fee and hence charge extra. You can choose the route with the transport manager and coordinate as per your convenience.
Redbridge academy conducts preliminary tests to observe and record the skills of all the aspirants. The test is purely based on merit and is meant to examine the abilities of students applying to obtain a seat at the International school.
Parents are often included at various cultural and social events of the International school in Bangalore. Annual events such as Sports day, Annual day invite parents for a rendition of talents. Our play areas and equipment have been meticulously planned to ensure that they are totally safe and child-friendly. We have 24 x 7 security personal stationed on campus, continuous CCTV coverage. Our bus management system has real-time web-enabled tracking, and alerts for parents about the expected time of their child’s arrival and helps to provide a safe and secure environment.

Our transport is outsourced. There is GPS facility on every bus and the parents can monitor the movement of their child’s transport on their mobile phones.

Normally Admission opens by 15th September and closes by 30th April for the next session. Round the year admissons are open for Transfer and Migration parents.
We do have a formal entrance test for classes 2 to 9. This is more to determine the level of attainment of the student in English & Mathematics and to ascertain what they know as opposed to what they do not know.
ICSE – Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi. The CICSE conducts the ICSE – Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (10) and the ISC – Indian School Certificate (12) Examinations – Cambridge Curriculum(IGCSE Grade-6 to Grade-10)and IB , Cambridge UK that conducts the IGCSE- International General Certificate of Secondary Education Examination. IB – International Baccalaureate, Geneva Switzerland that conducts the IBDP- International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (12)

The school will offer subjects and subject combinations based on copy of the subjects offered by RBIA is available on demand. While the subjects offered for the ICSE is limited those offered for the IGCSE is extensive and flexible as in most subjects students have a choice of opting for a Core or Extended syllabus. Yes, but not after registration for the respective examinations in August / September of the year in which the student is in Grade 9 after which they can migrate only to another CBSE / ICSE school respectively.
Level of attainment expected by both examination boards is the same. There may however be slight variance in syllabus content from subject to subject.
Teachers are encouraged to attend Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programmes and workshops to enable and empower them to further develop their teaching skills, classroom management skills and update them with latest in technology, subject content and examination assessment and evaluation techniques.
Every classroom, laboratory and some of the activity rooms are provided with promethean smart boards with preloaded syllabus content and access to the internet. Teachers adopt various teaching methodologies depending on the classroom situation, student needs and the subject being transacted. Methodologies may included strategies that provide children with the environment for experiential learning. The teacher may also adopt techniques to provide differentiated instruction, adapt a thematic or interdisciplinary approach and involve multiple intelligences. Most importantly all classroom activity is kept interactive and interesting for the students.

Every class and hence every child is given the opportunity to conduct morning assembly. This is, in our opinion the basis for encouraging and ensuring that every child becomes self confident by providing them the platform to express themselves whether through the spoken word, dance, singing and they like. This goes a long way in helping them overcome stage fear and shyness. It also builds and boosts their self esteem and helps in developing leadership skills. Once this is done their participation in extra co-curricular activities and games is more than ensured.
Not at all. We follow a homework schedule so that children are not over burdened and they are given interesting worksheets to complete for home work. At the same time children are encouraged to participate in co-curricular activities and sports and games so that it is not “all work and no play”!
Apart from organised sports, games and special activities organised after normal school working hours every class has 2 (higher classes) or 3 (lower classes) Physical Education periods that is a part of the regular school timetable. Children do exercises and play games like football, cricket, volleyball or basketball they also partcipate in individual games like badminton, chess or carrom during these periods. The PE intsructor ensures that all children get ample opportunities to participate in sports and games.
CCTV surveillance covers the entire campus, both in the classrooms and the outside common and play areas. This is constantly being monitored. Pre-primary children are always attended to by teachers and helped by lady attendants in the class rooms. The policy is to ensure that no student is left unattended at any time while they are on the campus or in school vehicles.There are lady attendants in the bus. We have a strict exeat procedure for students and staff and all visitors are screened before they enter the campus.
No. Till such time we have our own swimmimg pool we have outsoursed the facility for our children by having an understanding with a neighbouring club / resort.
Yes Hostel facility is available for boys and girls. Starts from grade 4 and above.
Boarders follow a schedule as per the insert in the trifold that is available on demand from the admissions team. Exercise, sports, studies and weekend outings form a part of their schedule.

Yes, we organise an annual health check for all our children. The reports are maintained by the school and also shared with parents. The health check helps to detect vision, hearing, dental and bronchal problems and deficiencies of vitamins, iron and minerals.
Children are cautioned for their misconduct and may be referred to the student counselor when necessary and only in more serious cases. The class / subject teacher may make a diary note and inform parents only if it needs to be brought to their attention. The situation is otherwise resolved internally in school. No Corporal Punishment is permitted.
The school has two counselors on its roles to assist children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
With Due respect and reverence is given to all religious festivals and international days are celebrated with great fervour with special assemblies for Dusshera, Diwali, Raksha Bandhan, Onam and Christmas etc.All National days like Independence Day and Republic Day etc are celebrated.Other ocassions such as Teachers Day and Childrens Day are also celebrated with much fun, happiness and joy. All these ocassions helps to foster in the children an insight and appreciation in to the rich religious and cultural heritage of our great Nation and imbibe in them a sense of patriotism , friendship, fellowship, patriotism and tolerance.
