Scholarships are offered to eligible students based on specific criteria set by the school which includes academics and extracurricular. Students who qualify will be invited to complete the required process, which may include an assessment or interaction. Detailed guidelines are shared with eligible applicants.

For Pre-Nursery: The child should have completed 2 years 10 months before the start of the academic year.

For Grade 1: Child should be 3+ as on June 1st.

For Grades up to Grade 2: Students will undergo a verbal assessment/interaction as part of the admission process.

From Grade 3 onwards: Students will be assessed through an oral evaluation covering English, Mathematics, and Science. The assessment will be conducted on the school campus, and the date and time will be scheduled in advance.
At Redbridge International Academy, we have a hands-on approach to non-English speaking children. We operate through a multilingual education system; teachers help a child/children to understand the basics in his/her known language until their English language and vocabulary can be well developed. Since the teacher-student ratio is less, this kind of personalization has been possible.
Redbridge International Academy is an international school that believes in inclusiveness. Our approach is child-centric, and hence we have a department called the Special Education Needs (SEN) department. Children with mild special educational needs receive personal attention. The school has two counselors on its roles to assist children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
The languages taught in Redbridge academy include English, Hindi, Kannada, and French. Depending upon the classes, even the languages become advanced or simple. The lower classes such as the Primary will have simple English, Hindi, Kannada, and French. Higher classes have more advanced grammar and comprehension. Yes, Redbridge International Academy provides transportation facilities for students. These services are optional and are charged separately from the school fees. Parents can select suitable routes and coordinate with the transport team based on their convenience.
Redbridge International Academy conducts an assessment process to understand each applicant's skills and readiness. For K2 to Grade 2, the assessment is based on a verbal/oral interaction. From Grade 3 onwards, students undergo a written assessment. This evaluation is based on merit and is designed to assess the student's overall abilities and ensure the right academic fit.

The school provides a well-organized transportation facility with GPS tracking, allowing parents to monitor the movement of the bus in real time through their mobile phones. Each bus is equipped with CCTV surveillance to ensure safety during travel and is supported by dedicated ayah staff to care for students throughout the journey.

ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education – Grade 10) and ISC (Indian School Certificate – Grade 12) are conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi.

Cambridge Curriculum / IGCSE (Grades 6 to 10) is offered by Cambridge Assessment International Education, United Kingdom, which conducts the IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) examinations.

IB / IBDP (International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme – Grade 12) is conducted by the International Baccalaureate Organization, Geneva, Switzerland.
Pre-Primary to Grade 5: The school follows an integrated curriculum, combining the best practices of both national and international frameworks, including elements of ICSE and IGCSE, to provide a strong and well-rounded foundation.

Grades 6 to 10 (IGCSE / ICSE): The curriculum is based on the guidelines prescribed by the respective examination boards—Cambridge Assessment International Education and the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations.

Grades 11 and 12: Students can choose between ISC and the IBDP, providing both national and international pathways for higher education.

Second and Third Language Options: Hindi, Kannada, and French. An Indian student is expected to choose at least one Indian language as second or third language.
For ICSE (Grades 6–10): Students follow a structured curriculum with core subjects including English, Second Language (Kannada/Hindi), Third Language, Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), Social Studies (History & Civics, Geography), and Computer Science.

For IGCSE (Grades 6–10): Students have a more flexible choice-based system. English is compulsory, along with a second language, and students can choose additional subjects such as Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Computing, Art & Design, Physical Education, and Music.

For higher grades, students select subjects across different groups (Languages, Humanities, Sciences, Mathematics, and others), based on their interests and future goals. Detailed information about subject combinations, guidelines, and counselling support is shared with parents and students during the subject selection process.
Yes, but not after registration dates are over, for the respective examinations in August/September of the year in which the student is in Grade 9, after which they can migrate only to another CBSE/ICSE school respectively.
Level of attainment expected by both examination boards is the same. There may however be slight variance in syllabus content from subject to subject.
Teachers are encouraged to attend Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programmes and workshops to enable and empower them to further develop their teaching skills, classroom management skills and update them with latest in technology, subject content and examination assessment and evaluation techniques.
Every classroom, laboratory and some of the activity rooms are provided with Promethean smart boards with preloaded syllabus content and access to the internet. Teachers adopt various teaching methodologies depending on the classroom situation, student needs and the subject being transacted. Methodologies may include strategies that provide children with the environment for experiential learning. The teacher may also adopt techniques to provide differentiated instruction, adapt a thematic or interdisciplinary approach and involve multiple intelligences. Not at all. We follow a homework schedule so that children are not over burdened and they are given interesting worksheets to complete for home work. At the same time children are encouraged to participate in co-curricular activities and sports and games so that it is not "all work and no play"!
At Redbridge International Academy, sports and physical education are an integral part of the curriculum. Each class has dedicated Physical Education (PE) periods in the regular timetable—2 periods for higher grades and 3 periods for lower grades.

During these sessions, students engage in a variety of activities including team sports such as football, cricket, basketball, and volleyball, as well as individual games like badminton, chess, and carrom.

In addition to regular PE classes, the school also organizes sports, games, and special activities beyond school hours. The PE instructors ensure that every student gets ample opportunities to participate, promoting fitness, teamwork, and overall well-being. Till such time we have our own swimming pool we have outsourced the facility for our children by having an understanding with a neighbouring club/resort.
Yes, hostel facility is available for boys and girls. Starts from Grade 4 and above. The hostel floors are separate for girls and boys.
Boarders follow a schedule as per the insert in the trifold that is available on demand from the admissions team. Exercise, sports, studies and weekend outings form a part of their schedule.

Yes, the school organises an annual health check-up for all students. The reports are carefully maintained by the school and are also shared with parents. These check-ups help in the early identification of concerns related to vision, hearing, dental health, and respiratory conditions, as well as any nutritional deficiencies such as vitamins, iron, and minerals, ensuring timely support and care for every child.
Children are cautioned for their misconduct and may be referred to the student counselor when necessary and only in more serious cases. The class/subject teacher may make a diary note and inform parents only if it needs to be brought to their attention. The situation is otherwise resolved internally in school. No Corporal Punishment is permitted. School follows a "NO TOUCH" policy.
All major religious festivals and international days are celebrated with great enthusiasm through special assemblies and activities. Festivals such as Dussehra, Diwali, Raksha Bandhan, Onam, and Christmas are observed to help students understand and appreciate diverse cultures and traditions.
