IGCSE CURRICULUM

The Redbridge International Academy is authorised to provide The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) syllabus, a worldwide recognised English language examination developed by the University of Cambridge International Examinations. This examination was established in 1988 and taken by students in the CBSE or ICSE board’s standard tenth grade. English, mathematics, and science are fundamental disciplines valuable to students pursuing both literature and technical subjects.
The IGCSE curriculum is adaptable. Students clearing the exam are entitled to apply for A-level qualifications at institutions in the United States and the United Kingdom, as IGCSE is considered equivalent to GCSE in the United Kingdom. The curriculum is further separated into IGCSE Core and IGCSE Extended to account for the children’s varying intellectual abilities.
